Well, it's machine's fault, again.

The story is my husband tried to set up the wireless internet at home even though I have told him that my friend in China does not do that. They worried about the radiation. In my opinion, anything you can not see does not worth any worry. We have enough causes that are so obvious to make us over worried in the world.

So, my husband seems agree with me. He crawled down to the desk at 11 on Friday night. He was to make the wireless work so my dream of sitting on bed or on the banch in the back yard online surfing would come true.

My friend in USA has expressed her sympathy on me saying that somebody told her everything in UK is kind of downsized, from house to bed. In terms of house, it's true and no couple would not like a bigger size bed even they already had a California king. In terms of one of the rooms, it's not true. Because it's suppose to be a bedroom and now an office desk is put in the room. So the room is spacious. Well, the desk makes no place left in the bedroom though. You can start to laugh now.

Any ways, British guys are taller than Chinese. I am shorter than average Chinese woman. I hope my husband made to the average. I don't know what my husband felt about the space under the desk. It must be very comfy because he must had been down there for quite a while Friday night when I was asleep. When he joined me in the bed, I could feel I was going to freeze to death and since then, had felt I was sleeping with a block of ice for the whole night. And he must did something wrong even though I couldn't blame him on trying to do something. I mean for the internet connecting thing. It's because the next morning, when Akuan tried to use his precious 2 hours computer time on Saturday, Akuan found out none of them could be connected to the internet at that point, the desktop or the lap top. Imagine the Saturday morning scream you heard from your 11 year old kid when you were trying to have a little longer sleep which meant it might make your sleep 7 hours. The first time in a month!

My longer sleep failed but I was calm in a strange way. I didn't yell my son back. Later on we learnd, my son was innocent. For my dear son, as long as one of them worked was good enough for that 2 hours. He was smart and hence happy enough. He calmed himself down and went underneath the desk and fixed part of the problem. The rewiring saved the desk top's internet connection.

For me, it's still a tragic. I cannot type Chinese on the desktop. I don't think my biologist husband would dare to try to fix this problem for me any more. So long story short, that's why you are reading this crappy article in crappy English.
